The Quest for the Cup

A group of weekend hackers capturing their glory years while waiting for the football season to start. Formerly in our younger years we played in a baseball league to get us through the off season of football, now we golf once a month from SuperBowl until Week 1 of the NFL.

Depending on the person's prior outing, they get strokes (handicap) so everyone is pretty even, although we have half points as well so you can win or lose by half a stroke. Each match the winner gets a poker chip with the names and scores on it as well as where it was played and the name of the match.
